Deep in the heart of the Jura mountains, the Seignemartin family has been perfecting the art of cheese for generations. Their Tomme aux 7 Fleurs immediately catches the eye – a wheel wrapped in a delicate coat of blossoms and leaves: rose, cornflower, mallow, marigold, safflower, strawberry leaf, and trigonella. This vibrant floral tapestry gives the cheese its charm and typicity.
Inside, the paste is golden yellow, supple, and dotted with tiny holes. The flavour is gentle yet full of character, with herbal, nutty, and lightly milky notes balanced by a touch of acidity. It’s a cheese that feels welcoming to everyone – from seasoned enthusiasts to those just discovering Jura’s specialties.
